What is the coverage?

LOSS OR DAMAGE TO THE INSURED MOTOR VEHICLE

The Company will indemnify the Insured against accidental loss of, or damage, to the Motor Vehicle described in the schedule hereto and its accessories and spare parts if the loss occurs:

  1. By accidental collision or overturning and/or collision or overturning as a result of mechanical breakdown
  2. By fire or lightning or self-ignition or external explosion or burglary or theft
  3. Whilst in transit by road, rail, inland Water way, lift or elevator relating to such transit (including the process of loading and unloading incidental to such transit).

Third party liability limits :

  1. The maximum limit of liability in case of Death or Bodily Injury, any one person any one event and in the aggregate during the Policy period: SR. 5,000,000.
  2. The maximum limit of liability in case of Property Damage, any one event and in the aggregate during the Policy period: SR. 5,000,000.

What are the standard exclusions?

Some of standard exclusion:

  • War invasion and civil war
  • Sabotage and terrorism
  • nuclear and radioactive damages
  • Damage to tires, wheels and loss of or damage to wheel caps unless such loss or damage is sustained by an accident.
  • Loss of or damage to the Motor Vehicle as a result of theft due to leaving the Motor Vehicle in operating mode, leaving the ignition keys therein or non –closing of doors or screens.
  • It excluded cover the losses and damages resulting from sand storm , hailstorm, tornado and flood.
  • Being used for rallying, racing, pace making, reliability trials, testing after repairs, speed testing or being driven dangerously or recklessly.

How to claim on our Products.

  • In case of any “accident” please inform the police and Najm immediately.
  • Notify Weqaya insurance company.
  • Complete the claim forms obtained from Weqaya and submit the same along with available documents.
  • Weqaya promises to appoint the loss adjustors within 24 hours of your claim and assist you to settle the claim promptly thereafter.
  • No admission, offer, promise or payment shall be made by or on behalf of the insured or the authorized driver without the written consent of Weqaya.

  • Repairs of the insured vehicles (Comprehensive Motor Insurance) should take place after the completion of the necessary documentation and survey.
  • Repairs should not be authorized or started without the company’s written approval.

Documents required in support of any claim are:

  1. Claim form, duly completed and signed by the Insured and the authorized driver.
  2. Original police report Or NAJM
  3. Copy of drivers License and Istimara.
  4. Permission of repair
